Sturmpanzer IV Brummbar was a topic awaited by many readers of our series. Your letters asking for it flo­oded us after number 10 about Sturmtiger was publi­shed. We were not aware that Brummbar is so popular, but luckily our research of this vehicle, which lasted over a year, was so advanced that we were able to publish majority of our material.
The results of our work are excellent illustrations by Krzystof Mucha and photos taken in early 2000 of an example at Munster. The topic is not yet fully covered as there are many questions regarding the history and de­sign of this vehicle and even its name. All interested in taking part in discussion are asked to visit our website. It is because of you that we will be able to create new illustrations to be published in one of the next Photosni-pers. Traditionally, we included with this publication a small gift - decals sheet by Techmod. On it you will find various size Balkan crosses in 1/72 and 1/35 scale, which could be used not only on Brummbar, but also on other German vehicles of WWII.
