all three parts to the Elseworlds/Doug Moench & Kelley Jones/Batman Dracula trilogyIn Red Rain, Dracula wants to turn Gotham City into his personal kingdom of the undead. Batman is left with no choice but to side with a renegade band of vampires and face Dracula face to face.
Bloodstorm sees Batman now a vampire. In many ways it is a vindication of his self image as a creature of the night apart from normal humans. At the same time, Batman is built on the one thing that separates him from the monsters he fights- he will not kill. As the vampiric urge to kill grows, however, he must go to extraordinary measures to fight it or lose all that he is.
The final chapter, Crimson Mist. Alfred the Butler and Commissioner Gordon face a new group of criminals besieging Gotham, and only the undead Dark Knight can stop them. Can Batman defeat Two-Face and Killer Croc without becoming a worse monster in the process?
