League of Batmen
Here we open in the present, bounce back to the dark past, jump forwards to the future, then shoot back again. Basically Ra's has won - Bruce Wayne is dead, and a plague has wiped out huge portions of humanity.
Ra's perverted Bruce's memory by employing an army of Batmen to execute his will (and execute the populace). Bruce's and Talia's son destroyed the Brotherhood of the Batmen, and fought back. Now Ra's is dying, the virus is cured, and Tallant is triumphant. The stage is set for the hunting down of the Batmen, and the resurrection of the true Batman to take his place in destiny.
