This book introduces on how and why machine works. This will provide an “introduction to mechanical engineering”. It is discussed with Careers and MIT Curriculum that taught the “engineering way of thinking” by determining important parts of the problem, modeling and estimation. It will “develop engineering knowledge” where the common elements and systems included and how machines are made and work. It also developed engineering skills” meaning speaks Communication and project management, analytic and geometric Modeling and engineering design Processing. The part one is of the book contains Camera Discussion, Units and reason, engineering flow balances, Sketching, Project management (Discussion), and homework. Part2 discussed about what is engineering and all function of engineering. Part3 is how and why machine work, Part 4 contains Manufacturing activities, Homework 3, Mfg plant trip, Manufacturing videos available for checkout discussed how car is made, ford Mfr plants, Casting, turning, Milling and Extrusion. Part 5 lectures the Hydraulic machines and system II. It is the basic Hydraulic machine and components with Graphical Nomenclature. Example I-III of pump, motor and cylinder cont., planetary gear trains and threaded mechanism. Part 6 is Hydraulic machines III and EM machines. The topics are Project I schedule revision, Test, Bernoulli’s equation, Electric motors and evaluation. Part 7 is Machine that store and transfer energy Thermodynamics and energy Conversion . The topics are Marty: Project I questions/answers, Joe: thermodynamics and machinery. This is a very fun course to take, very hard course to teach for engineering student and engineering professor.
