Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT)/Fast Fourier Transform (FFT)
The DFT express signals as a linear Combination sinusoidal or complex exponential Signals allows one to examine the effect of the system of each signal Component. It is based on the Fourier series, which is the linear weighted sum of harmonically related sinusoids and complex exponentials. It is fast computational algorithm and among the most important tools in signal processing. It is commonly applied to implement linear filtering, spectral analysis, and correlation analysis.
