Structural Design & Laying of Underground Drains

The purpose is to make this a convenient guide mainly for those having to design and specify underground drainage system for jobs that do not justify detailed calculation, and limited pipes up to 300 mm nominal diameter. Only pipes and rigid are discussed. This was prepared in the ground of engineering division of the highways and structures department of the transport of the road research laboratory. The material on which the report has based has been drawn from the number of sources (see list of the references).
