This book may be small but it is a real treasure! It takes tremendous skill to write so well in a short novel and Emma Darcy is magnificent. In no way is this book small in terms of the writing ---- rather it is exquisite! The characters are well-developed. The plot is tight, compact and perfectly orchestrated. Not one word is wasted. Perfect!
