Try the "disk management" mmc and delete any partitions (on the flash drive! only) and recreate them.

if that doesn't work perhaps try a better disk management app like acronis and boot into its management app via the boot media create tool.
Maybe a "low level" format is needed or a 0 sector rewrite... all the tools are in acronis.

If you can't access the flash drive via these tools then maybe Emtec has a system tool for download?

otherwise it might be damaged... hope not & good luck
