Hey folks, I know it's probably a bit early to care about this, but given how SLP 2.0 for Vista is so much more conveniently exploitable than SLP 1.0 is for XP, has there been any news about the SLP mechanism that will be used to auto-activate OEM licenses for Windows 7? I'm hoping of course that Microsoft doesn't get rid of royalty OEM activation given how many people have essentially "created" OEM licenses for themselves by taking advantage of SLP 2.0 when upgrading a lesser edition of Vista.
This could be a toss-up, I mean it took the warez community a couple of months to create a reliable BIOS emulator so as to activate Vista. Maybe a similar hack will be ready in time for Windows 7...?
