yes that is true, but why do i need gigs of extra crap on my pc that does not have to be on there. cant microsoft make a version that doesnt have, sidebar, media centre, internet explorer, windows mail, movie maker, defender etc etc list keeps going.

why does microsoft think we have to have all this rubbish on a pc??

they make xbox - xbox 360 which is just the basics enough for it to turn on, work out what network, controller etc and play dvds / games, why cant they do this for a pc.

you dont see a xbox with sidebars, internet explorer and things on it.
