Well my system is similar to yours ( more or less ?!? ) and after having tried Seven, I won't be going back to either XP or Vista anytime soon!

I say give it a spin .. you won't regret it!

.. and thats without any major tweaking .. it's not necessary .. just my opinion of course ..
