Mine's worse - a first for me. I clean installed W7 7100 on ASUS P5PE-VM and despite my successful experiences with wired (D-Link DGE-500t PCI and other onboard, including ASUS' Maxwell onboard LAN) & wireless (Linksys WUSB54Gv4 and Netgear WG1113v2 Wireless USB) connections to a Linksys WRT54G wireless router from XP to Vista on different PCs, it's impossible to get online with Firefox and IE8 even through W7 can see internet. Ipconfig /all thingy in CMD is of no help at all. Also poked around in services.msc with no success. Even W7 installed network drivers with no issues. This baffles me greatly for 3 days. This same mobo previously has been online with no problems under XP, Vista and Win Server 2008.
