there are 2 ways to install it. 1st way u can do is have 7229 version and then install 7231 on it.
or the 2nd way u can do it is just install verison 7231 on a new hard drive with noting on it.

I have been involved with PC s since DOS, then Windows for Workgroups 3.11 right up to present day. I have used Vista since its beta stage and although it has improved with SP1 and SP2, it is still a diappointment. I am now involved with the Beta and now RC version of Windows 7, I use the 64bit system as I did with Vista. And I can say without doubt that Windows 7 RC is a vast improvement over Vista, so much so that I have now installed as my main system, which I normally never do until RTM release, so I have installed all the stuff I used on Vista including games like GTA IV, its start up and shut down times are vastly improved over Vista Its much snappier than Vista in everyday use, smaller install footprint and RAM usage. I would recommend Windows 7 RC 64bit which will still run 32bit apps and drivers as well especially with your 8gb RAM

I did a Clean Install (formatted HD) & Unchecked Box that says ACTIVATE ONLINE
and I Did Not Input a Serial Number
How can I activate for good (remove 30 days to activate) & remove the Evaluation Edition watermark??
And make it receive all updates??

I have been involved with PC s since DOS, then Windows for Workgroups 3.11 right up to present day. I have used Vista since its beta stage and although it has improved with SP1 and SP2, it is still a diappointment. I am now involved with the Beta and now RC version of Windows 7, I use the 64bit system as I did with Vista. And I can say without doubt that Windows 7 RC is a vast improvement over Vista, so much so that I have now installed as my main system, which I normally never do until RTM release, so I have installed all the stuff I used on Vista including games like GTA IV, its start up and shut down times are vastly improved over Vista Its much snappier than Vista in everyday use, smaller install footprint and RAM usage. I would recommend Windows 7 RC 64bit which will still run 32bit apps and drivers as well especially with your 8gb RAM

I did a Clean Install (formatted HD) & Unchecked Box that says ACTIVATE ONLINE
and I Did Not Input a Serial Number
How can I activate for good (remove 30 days to activate) & remove the Evaluation Edition watermark??
And make it receive all updates??

How do I turn my PS3 to its normal state from the Linux Boot up? I have PS3 60 GB, and I have tried to install Linux. And when I have done, then I restarted my PS3. But when I did that, a black linux boot screen showed up instead of the the normal PS3 system. And when i am in that boot screen, it says that i have to install or just try out the Linux. How do get to the normal PS3 system from there?
