It’s time to bust out the champagne and give a toast to Windows 7’s future success; Microsoft has officially released Windows 7 to manufacturing, the build string being 7600.16385.090713-1255, as confirmed by a Microsoft spokesperson. The signoff was originally set to be announced on the 13th, however for some reason they were unable to meet the targeted date, possibly due to some show-stopper bug present in the OS that they wanted to iron out before the big signoff.
