Jon Kabat-Zinn's voice is calm, quiet, and gentle. It fits his discussion of meditation and acceptance though, to be honest, at times it is so calm that listeners may miss key points, or some of the dry jokes he drops subtly into the lecture on the first CD. However, his calm fits the second CD perfectly. On that one his voice allows listeners to relax mind and body and simply follow the guidelines he explains during the five guided meditation exercises. His tone and slow pace allow trust to build with each breath and are evidence of his success in his own stress reduction. Moving to Sydney, Australia in 1987, in the interim 12 years he has produced an enormous volume of works centerpiece of which is the inspirational tetralogy - Atlantean Secrets. In that time he has also established a school of meditation and spirituality.

Sagan's writing career (15 books) began in non-fiction, making the transition to fiction with Atlantean Secrets, followed quickly by his sci-fi adventure Bleeding Sun. While Atlantean Secrets is focussed on the demise of the glorious epoch that proceeded our own, Bleeding Sun explores the future of virtual reality, fourth dimension and psychic warfare. All are packed with Sagan's visionary insights and predictions regarding the past and future histories of humanity.

A GOOD INTRO TO VARIOUS LOCKING TECHNIQUES.

One of the better locking books out there. Has a decent amount of locking techniques without becoming overly complicated. The photos in the book are of good size and clear and consice, unlike some of the other books on the market where you have to strain eyes and brain to figure how they aquired that particular lock. Although I do not train in a Kata based system. He makes valid points not unlike Dillman about the proper use of Kata. There are 11 wrist-locking techniques, 29 staight arm locks some on the ground, some standing up, 14 bent arm locks again some standing some on the ground, 3 transitioning training drills. Sorry no finger locking techniques, for that get a hold of Prof. Jays Small Circle Jujitsu, or any good Chin na book. Not a bad book to add to your locking library.
