This book will show you how to create documents of your own so you can share them on the web. Youll become intimately familiar with the rules and constructs of HyperText Markup Language (HTML), the computer language the web is built on. A lot has changed in recent times, so if youre a more experienced web developer looking to get back to basics and see what all this semantic XHTML and CSS mumbo-jumbo is about, this is the book for you.
Here we present a brief road map of where this book is going to take you. The first two chapters lead you through the bare essentials youll need to start creating your own web documents. Throughout the bulk of this book, Chapters 3 through 10, youll dig into different subject areas within HTML and XHTML, becoming familiar with all of the different elements at your disposal. Watchmen is a twelve-issue comic book limited series created by writer Alan Moore, artist Dave Gibbons, and colorist John Higgins. The series was published by DC Comics in single issues during 1986 and 1987, and has been subsequently reprinted in collected form. Watchmen originated from a story proposal Moore submitted to DC featuring superhero characters that the company had acquired from Charlton Comics. As Moore's proposed story would have left many of the characters unusable for future stories, managing editor ~censored~ Giordano convinced the writer to create original characters instead.
In 1987, Graphitti Design produced a special limited edition, slipcased hardcover volume that contained 48 pages of bonus material, including the original proposal and concept art. In 2005, DC released Absolute Watchmen, an oversized slipcased hardcover edition of the series in DC's Absolute Edition format. Assembled under the supervision of Dave Gibbons, Absolute Watchmen included the Graphitti materials, as well as restored and recolored art by John Higgins.
Watchmen has received critical acclaim both in the comics and mainstream press, and is regarded by critics as a seminal text of the comic book medium. After a number of attempts to adapt the series into a feature film, director Zack Snyder's Watchmen was released in March 2009.
Watchmen is currently available in 4 editions, the classic softcover version that collects the 12 issues mini-series, and three other versions with remastered art and recolored by WildStorm FX and John Higgins (the original colorist for the series) with dozen of pages of extras originally produced for the Graphitti Designs edition of the book. We have a new softcover (called international edition), a hardcover book, and a slipcased oversized hardcover. The version you will may download right now comes from the Absolute Edition, but as an extra bonus I've included all the original covers (front, inside front, inside back, and back covers) cortesy of DTs who scanned and edited them.
Below you will find links for each issue. But it should be noted that they are marked as "remixed" because between the original covers, you'll find the remastered versions of the story pages. And additionally you have another file containing all the extras from the Absolute Edition as well.

Twilight is a popular young-adult vampire romance series written by Stephenie Meyer. It tells the story of 17-year-old Bella Swan who moves to Forks, Washington, and falls in love with a dangerous young man who is not what he seems. The series contains four novels, and a draft of "Midnight Sun" which is an unfinished alternative version of the first novel, but from Edward's perspective.
The Host is a science fiction/romance novel also by Stephenie Meyer. The Host introduces an alien race called "souls" who take over Earth and reside inside the bodies of their human hosts, and describes one soul's predicament when her host body refuses to cooperate with her takeover. The author describes it as perhaps the only love triangle involving just two bodies.

How To Learn Any Language
This is a really interesting book on learning languages, written by a guy who
speaks 20-something different languages!
There really isnt a step-by-step method here, but there are lots of helpful
suggestions if you are looking to learn a new language.
Also some great ideas about memory and how to remember all the new vocabulary.
Gives a nice view of lots of different languages you may choose to learn,
though sometimes I dont know how useful that is. Sure, Indonesian is easy to learn,
but will it ever come in handy?
If youre learning a language (or considering it) youll probably find some
interesting stuff here.
