Coverage of object-oriented programming emphasizes various methods of expressing commonality and abstraction, and the advanced coverage illustrates coordination of advanced C++ by developing several interesting examples, including array classes, pointer classes, systems employing abstract algebra, FORTRAN-based matrices, function mapping, and data fitting.
